This policy applies solely to the SN Code Analyzer extension and not to any third-party websites or services you may access through your browser.

3) Data Collection

SN Code Analyzer does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Code analysis (e.g., scripts, tags, snippets) happens locally in your browser. No information from your pages or ServiceNow environment is sent to external servers by the extension.

Note: if you manually enable optional features (e.g., sending a report via email or export), such data is handled by the chosen service (email client, export tool) and does not pass through our servers.

4) Browser Permissions

The extension may request certain Chrome permissions strictly required for its operation (e.g., scripting, activeTab, storage). These permissions are used only to analyze the code of the active tab at your request, display results, and store your preferences locally (in chrome.storage).

5) Use and Retention

• No profiling, no targeted advertising, no selling of data.
• Analysis results and settings remain on your device until you delete them (via the UI or by uninstalling the extension).

6) Sharing and Transfers

We do not share, rent, or sell any user data to third parties. No transfer outside of your device is performed by the extension.

7) Security

Local execution reduces risks. We follow best practices for extension development (least privilege, permission reviews, local storage) to minimize the attack surface.

8) Children

The extension is not intended for children under 13 and does not process any data that could identify them.

9) Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy if features evolve. The “Last updated” date will be adjusted accordingly. In case of major changes, we will notify users on this page.
