This Privacy Policy explains how the SN Code Analyzer extension handles data when you install and use it in your browser. We value your privacy and are committed to protecting it.
This policy applies solely to the SN Code Analyzer extension and not to any third-party websites or services you may access through your browser.
SN Code Analyzer does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Code analysis (e.g., scripts, tags, snippets) happens locally in your browser. No information from your pages or ServiceNow environment is sent to external servers by the extension.
Note: if you manually enable optional features (e.g., sending a report via email or export), such data is handled by the chosen service (email client, export tool) and does not pass through our servers.
The extension may request certain Chrome permissions strictly required for its operation (e.g., scripting
, activeTab
, storage
).
These permissions are used only to analyze the code of the active tab at your request, display results, and
store your preferences locally (in chrome.storage
).
We do not share, rent, or sell any user data to third parties. No transfer outside of your device is performed by the extension.
Local execution reduces risks. We follow best practices for extension development (least privilege, permission reviews, local storage) to minimize the attack surface.
The extension is not intended for children under 13 and does not process any data that could identify them.
We may update this policy if features evolve. The “Last updated” date will be adjusted accordingly. In case of major changes, we will notify users on this page.
